In 1991, our initial product, Mira version 1, gave smooth, real-time, mouse-operated palette stretching for 2k x 2k images using a consumer grade video card on a 486-33 computer---something completely unheard of at the time. Since that beginning, the Mira™ product line has continued to innovate new processing algorithms, new ways of looking at things, and better user interface designs. And Mira continues to lead in raw performance. Our software is used across a spectrum of technical applications in astronomy & space sciences, radiography, medical physics, nanotechnology, and other emerging technologies.
