Converting Data Types
To convert an image from one data type to another:
Make sure an Image Window has focus.
On the Image window's pull-down menu, click Process > Change Data Type > [type], where [type] refers to the data type you want to use.

If working with an image set, you can apply this command to the entire image set or to only the active image. This is controlled by the Image Set Process Flag. |
