Converting Pixel Types

To convert an image from one pixel type to another:

  1. Make sure an Image Window has focus.

  2. On the Image window's menu, click Process > Change Pixel Type > [type], where [type] refers to the pixel type you want to use.

Tip

If working with an image set, you can apply this command to the entire image set or to only the active image. This is controlled by the Image Set Process Flag.
