Copy and Paste Commands for Images


The commands below perform copying, editing, and some pasting operations. These commands are located in the Edit pull-down menu for various window types.

Undo (Ctrl+Z) restores the image to its previous state after being changed.

Copy Window (Ctrl+W) copies the image window, including overlaid graphics, to the clipboard.

Copy Bitmap copies the image bitmap rather than the screen display to the clipboard.

Copy Markers (Ctrl+Shift+C) copies the locations of markers (e.g., photometry apertures) to the clipboard.

Paste Markers (Ctrl+Shift+V) pastes the locations of markers (e.g., photometry apertures) into an image.

Empty Clipboard removes copied objects and frees memory used by the clipboard.

Duplicate makes a copy of the image in a new Image window.
