Copy Window

The Copy Window command copies the Windows screen bitmap of the image displayed in the Image Window. This command copies the screen appearance of the image as well as its overlaid graphics such as measurements and markers.

The example below shows the window and the result of executing Ctrl+W.

This screen-shot shows an 8-bit luminance image displayed in Mira. A pseudo-color palette was applied to the image. Notice the image cursor as a red square with crosshair at its center.

This shows the result of the Copy Window command. The displayed portion of the image plus any overlaying graphics, as they appear on the screen, are copied to the clipboard. This can be pasted into other software, such as a graphics arts application.
