Copy (Image)

The Copy command for images copies the image from an Image window to the clipboard. The clipboard image may be pasted into any other Image window in the standard way using the Paste command. If the Image window contains an image set, only the current (top-most) image is copied.

Note

This command copies the actual image data, not the bitmap. The clipboard will contain the pixel data, header information, and coordinate system calibration. When the image is pasted into a new window, it acquires the visualization properties—transfer function, palette, zoom, etc.—in use by the target window.
