Paste Commands

The Paste command works like the traditional Windows Paste command by pasting data from the Windows clipboard into a Mira window. The Copy+Paste protocol allows some types of data to be exchanged between Mira windows or Mira and other Windows Applications.

The type of data pasted from the Clipboard varies by Mira window type:

Image Window

The Paste command (Ctrl+V) pastes an image from the Clipboard into an Image window.

The Paste Markers command (Ctrl+Shift+V) pastes markers from the clipboard into the current image. The marking mode toolbar is activated if not already active.

Plot Window

The Paste command (Ctrl+V) pastes plot series from the clipboard into the current plot window. See Copy and Paste Commands for Plots

Editor Window

The Paste command (Ctrl+V) pastes plain text or Rich Text from the clipboard into the document at the current cursor location.
