Docking Panes Toolbar

The Docking Panes Toolbar provides buttons commands for all docking panes of Image Windows, Plot Windows, and others. In addition the Docking Pane Control button also exists save, tabify, and reopen the window's panes. The commands on this toolbar apply to the Image Window currently on front of the stack.

Buttons on this toolbar operate the following commands. From the left, they are as follows:

generate/btn_pane_manager1.jpg

Saves the docking pane layout. The drop menu includes other pane commands and is used to re-open closed panes of the parent window. See Saving the Docking Pane Layout.

generate/btn_pane_palette1.jpg

Opens or closes the Palette Pane in the vertical orientation. The drop menu includes other Palette Pane commands.

generate/btn_pane_transferfunc1.jpg

Opens or closes the Transfer Function Pane in the vertical orientation. The drop menu includes other Transfer Function Pane commands.

Opens or closes the FITS Header Pane.

Opens or closes the Pixel Table Pane.

generate/btn_pane_horz_slice1.jpg

Opens or closes the Horizontal Slice Plot pane.

generate/btn_pane_vert_slice1.jpg

Opens or closes the Vertical Slice Plot pane.

generate/btn_pane_window_bar1.jpg

Opens or closes the view window toolbar (the Image Bar pane for Image Windows or the Plot Bar for Plot Windows).

generate/btn_pane_animation_bar1.jpg

Opens or closes the Animation Bar for Image Windows or the Plot Animation Bar pane for Plot Windows.
